What to expect

In my yoga classes you will find both effort and challenge as well as deep relaxation, together this has a balancing effect on your body and mind. What are the benefits of a regular yoga practice?

  • you go through life with more ease
  • your body awareness and sleep quality will increase
  • you gain strength and flexibility
  • reduce stress and live in the moment
  • enhance your inner calm and boost concentration


In the yoga class, the asanas (postures) are dynamically linked with each other, which means that we move in a flow and work on your flexibility and balance as well as your strength and endurance. For example, some asanas are held longer in order to be able to exploit the full potential of these postures and to be able to delve deeper into the respective execution. We will also enjoy several sun salutations together.

In addition to the physical part, breathing is an important part in yoga and due to our fast daily routine we all too often forget how correct breathing works. By fully breathing we can have an extremely positive effect on our body and that's why we also use the hour to train proper breathing so that you can benefit from it in your everyday life. We will practice various breathing techniques (pranayama) together and the dynamic yoga flow is also based on your breathing, thereby bringing body and mind into harmony.

Last but not least, a short meditation or mindfulness practice is also included, which will help you to reduce stress and let go of your thoughts. Through meditation you become more present and learn to be more aware of things that happen around you - during and outside of meditation. You will notice how your everyday life changes in a short time and you become much more relaxed. As a result, you can also act more and more consciously and deal with your feelings instead of allowing them to react to situations remotely.

If you are still in doubt because you may not have any experience with yoga and meditation, then I would like to invite you to a trial lesson. You will find that you can find your way into it quickly. My courses are suitable for beginners as well as advanced, young and old, very flexible or at least a little more rigid. It's not about touching the tip of your toes, but about doing something good for yourself and creating a connection with your body and mind.
